This class gives storytellers and non-storytellers the tools to uncover and explore the deeper meanings found in traditional narratives. Exploring stories from Hungary, Nigeria, South Africa, Egypt, Eastern Europe, and India, students begin by dissecting stories, their symbols and metaphors. In this series, we create together a safe and intimate space to explore stories about death and grief, what they mean to us, and the reactions and feelings they spark within. The classes will be led by Rebecca Lemaire and Maggid Jim Brulé.
