Part of Health Systems Science 5: Law and Advocacy course for first year medical students. This session will explore the neurology of storytelling and how humans learn from/process stories as a way of creating an internal understanding of the world differently than responding to facts/figures. This session will also inform how we use storytelling as we identify healthcare topics that the students care about and where they want to effectuate change in healthcare policy.
